Hi there.

I just gonna post it here. Does anyone here experience using Mesh WIFI AIRTIES (EDIT: 4830) by unifi (EDIT: or MAXIS?? not sure)? My friend came to visit KL and bring over some items to sell to me secondhand. Will leave later this evening, appreciate if anyone has experience with the mesh wifi can share review on the device.

thanks

Don't know about this brand but I'm using tplink deco x90. Is kinda overkill for unifi 800mbps.

Need to know the model to give opinion.

This question is like "do you like to drive proton?"

Proton have wira, saga, gen 2, X70, Iris. Without the model, hard to give opinion.

Do your house has blank spot that you prefer have WiFi coverage?

This unit is designed for that purpose.

It will not increase your speed or bandwidth. Simply help you to boost coverage.

yes, especially my bedroom on the second floor.

memang planning to get mesh wifi long time already, but didn't get the chance and opportunity to buy or survey proeprly. asking if this brand okay or not, macam tak pernah dengar je.

When choosing MESH, pls get 3 band MESH. Had a dual band MESH, it was still not good on second floor until I dulan and change to Triband MESH. Seriously, upstair and downstair same speed like no difference.

Using Tplink Deco M9 Plus

Triband still very expensive, regardless of the brands.

A few hundred more only. Unless dual band works for you, else have to bite the bullet and solve it once and for all.
