Well it's only 1.3, what to expect. We still can reach safely. It won't drive like a 2.0, but we don't go up Genting everyday right? But certainly lotsa room to carry stuff. 
I drove a kelisa auto to genting before, eventhough it's 1.0 it really got the ummph.. it's a small powerful car..However, avanza is true spacious.. good to carry people and stuffs especially balik kampung....
