Consumption is not too bad, definitely better than a 2.0 car.

i think those of us who bought avanza pre fuel price hike will thank the gods coz my wife wanted to trade in her vios for an Innova 2.0 (she didnt like the legroom of the Livina at the back)! luckily we couldnt agree until a friend suggested looking at the avanza and then we decided it was a good fit, so we got it. more space and same engine displacement made it a good idea.
eh, so you guys inflate the tyres by how much? do you follow the recommended tyre pressures?

for stock rims and tyre size, recommended tyre pressure is the best to follow. unless if you only use your car on highway, then over inflate by 10ps for better fuel economy.

Ahoy to all the avanza owners at here wave.gif

My dad is planning to get a new avanza (1.5G). I wonder if there's any special promo goin on for this car?? Btw, how's the fuel consumption of this car?? How's the ride of this car ?? Is there any improvement as compared to its elder sibling ?? There was once i sat on a 1.3L first batch, n the ride was way too bumpy =.=.

Hey there, you want sleek look, powerful engine and comfy ride? Take a look at Chery Eastar MPV.

Once you tried the power of it's Mitsubishi 4G64 2.4L engine, and the super easy handling and turning ratio, you'll fall in love with this MPV. One finger turning man with full load (7 people on board)... syok man!! thumbup.gif

Low profile and stylish with LED lights in the rear, good looks and comfortable ride compare to Avanza, Rush or Innova.

Take a look at the features: thumbup.gif

1. Nice elegant look, esp the beautiful LED rear lights.
2. Good features you can only find in higher price MPV: Dual Airbags, ABS, EBD, Steptronic (auto & manual transmission), Mitsubishi 2.4L engine, 16" alloy wheel, CD + MP3 player with USB, Dual Tone Horn.
3. Good petrol consumption from the feedbacks here, RM100 for 450km.
4. Sleeker than Avanza/Innova/Serena but roomier than Avanza/Grand Livina/Rush/Citra/Rondo. Sits 7 people comfortably.
5. Auto thermostatic adjust air-con with blowers on last 2 rows.
6. 3 years warranty and 1 year free service. Use Mitsubishi spare parts.
7. NCAP Safety Rating of 4.

Just drop by some time to this threads but need to dig it up.

Change my rear absorber to GAB and it reduces bumpiness more... Don't believe it, try it... plus more confident when layan corner...

Agreed with you...

Other than double din cd player, other was the same as previous model. I saw there is 1.5E model also...

Noticed the gate shifter but it still 4-speed automatic gear box. I thought it use triptonic gear box.

hey guys....it's me again.

Juz wondering how's the FC for the 1.5L version? Personally, i've sat on both 1.3L and 1.5L respectively (Both are auto models). All i can say that the 1.5L has a smoother ride and a lil bit less bumpy as compared to its sibling.

1.5L shud be better than 1.3 since it got more power/torque to pull the car
my weekly petrol consumption from Puchong (Home) to Glenmarie Shah Alam (office)
RM30 - 250km (60% start stop, 40% smooth driving)
