I'd say pretty hardcore...well most of us here in the console couch anyway. Owning the Legendary set doesn't make one a hardcore gamer. It just gives you some rights to brag.

Yeah true. If u notice I want and prefer ps3 but I also play Halo, interested in their special edition and stuff. Currently borrowing psp and usually stop by my fren's house for some GoW and PES WE 2007 on 360.

About the hardcore I mention, I don't just mean by gamers itself, but of coz in terms of enthusiastic on how much they are willing to go for some the most anticipated or shall I say the biggest game ever yet released.. Prolly u have different type of views like hardcore gamers on budget or such, but I remember alot of gamers saying in mobile thread, " If u are a hardcore gamers, get a desktop" and that is definitely not true. There are hardcore gamers that need a laptop to play most of their games bcoz of their lifestyle, which is always on the go. So choosing a laptop instead a desktop doesn't mean he a hardcore or not, but ppl always assume it is like that. I hope u get what I mean by that. Prolly u can try Halo thread and see the hardcore fans I am talking about.

I agree with you, I own the current next gen machines, and I have a laptop for pc games.. for those consoles and laptop, I could buy a very kick ass pc , heck even my laptop alone should get a nice decent PC with the latest stuff...

But for me though, nothing beats being able to play my favorite PC games when i'm on the move or being able to pop in a disc for a quick game on my consoles, with games that are optimized for the hardware..

Thats just me though, other people have different views and thats a good thing
