fast forward a couple of years now we have 5g home wifi. anybody has any input on the modem provided? i see there's brovi and green packet. any idea what's the price etc?

it says Unlimited, but if you read the FUP correctly, you only have a limit of 300GB before beign throttled or "Managed"

yup noticed that too, but previously i heard maxis cap the speed from 8pm to 12am to 3-4 mbps. is it still the same?

Depends on the area you live.

If in Klang Valley or Penang where many areas are very congested, if you get FULL BAR signal but your speed like old 1Mbps Streamyx which means damn Maxis don't want to upgrade your base station infra in your area to cope over congestion.

It's like you install a brand new WiFi6E router at home but connect it to a 4Mbps Streamyx. The over 10 people connected to the same wireless router. What happens? Maxis is trying to oversell their service to the maximum but refuse to admit they don't want to take out money to invest in more base stations/improve capacity.

FCK my area here at Ayer Itam Penang Maxis tak boleh pakai one.

Ordinary postpaid Maxis also congested during peak hour nights.....

Feels like 56kbps era 😏

havent come here long time and notice the mention of this package (and free TV some more)
all sounds too good to be true... and yep, it's too good to be true.
300GB FUP is seriously low tbh. This is a plan meant to be used by many people, isn't just one person.
This number definitely is lower than my monthly average, where I share the legacy Digi Infinite 150 with family members.

Got hyped a bit that there is a new "unlimited" plan available, but that FUP is just a big blow.

Yeah but what happens if the FUP is used up? Unifi also has FUP, but they don't say how high it is or what will happen...
