Didn't know there was a thread like this. Most memorable moment; 1997, tore my knee ligament while playing goalie for a training match. Was a routine catch; I just somehow landed horribly on my left knee and it went through; like breaking a chicken wing. And when I went to the chinese sensei to get it pulled back to straighten it; he missed the first time and had to do it twice. Those were fun.

Football good moment wise; definitely the INTI college tournament back in my college days in 1999/2000. My first and last tourney in football before I stopped playing football completely. First tournament game; 85th minute, we're leading 1-0. I get up for a corner after my teammate wanted a breather and subbed with me; ran late and saw the ball coming in at the edge of the penalty box closest to the right hand corner where the corner was coming in from; glancing header to the far post. Goal off the post. My second goal; forfeited match due to opponent not turning up and they let me score the 3rd goal for a 3-0 win. I was top goal scorer for the team after 2 matches.

Oh wait; the best part. I was the team's first choice goalie. 2 games later and only 3 goals conceeded (we were whipped 3-0 by the champs) and we won 3rd place in the tourney. Extremely proud of it considering we were the weakest team in the entire tourney and no one gave us a shot. I even have the medal in the family's medal cabinet still. Pure solid bronze. Sadly; they never had a best keeper award.

As for futsal; as goalie; taken the usual, given a number as well. Balls been stepped on; face's been elbowed, been kicked in the stomach, headed in the head. Been lobbed; saved lots and lots of shots in a single match and won it for the team. Good and bad times. Still running. Hopefully will be interesting in 1 year as I've moved towards tournament play after stopping playing tournies for 'bout 4-5 years ago.
