Just got their February security patch - a little slower now compared to my previous experience owning the Realme 6, that was fairly up to date. Maybe coz they have more models now.

Anyone encountered problems with gmail and google drive? For some weird reasons I could not download attachments/files from these two apps. Already sent to service center. They installed different firmware but after 2 days the problems resurfaced. Am I getting a lemon unit?

My Realme 9 Pro+ has no issues so far. Last security update was 5 April 2022 and all is good and smooth, albeit a little boring, hahaha…

Oh, and even manage to get the phone to go on 5G when I was on a business trip to Manila recently - the download and upload speeds weren’t spectacular though - probably a country-specific problem.. But at least they have 5G, hahaha…

It was software related problem (the ROM). Around 1 week I lodge a complaint at their service centre, a new software update package was available. I downloaded and installed. Luckily the issues no longer surfaced with the updated software.

Surprisingly this phone doesn't go down in price, I've been waiting a while but can never get a good deal on this phone. Should have purchased it on initial launch.

Nice, glad the issue is resolved. Got the latest software update yesterday, RMX3393_11_A.13 and security update is now 5 June 2022. So far all good, no issues or bugs of note. Will see how it goes.

Maybe see if there’s any RM10 for RM100 discount on Lazada during 7.7 sale? I got mine at about RM1.3k after all the discounts on their anniversary sale.
