 Proper way to dispose self test kit

What is the proper way to dispose those used self test kit? Just throw into garbage can (after sealing it in the provided ziplock)?

Make ziplock is sealed with another’s round of masking tape is the best and then disposed in the garbage and make sure compacted with other rubbish preferably food waste to decompose it naturally
