My friend who is Proton engineer working in their R&D department said got difference.In China they prefer to use a harder/firmer suspension,here most people dont like too much bumping (stiffer suspension= more bumping).Furthermore,Proton engineer also mau tunjuk hebat jugak so they will make sure that Proton version handling must be superior than their Geely counterpart lulz..

Got conversion to RHD too..All the RHD version of Geely car will be done at Proton factory.Even Geely don't want pening kepala mau buat conversion so they gave to Proton engineer since Malaysia itself is RHD market.I heard they want to make Malaysia as their RHD hub..

He said banyak kerja because of conversion from LHD to RHD.Before this I also noob think that drive conversion is merely a simple task lulz..

This one I dunno la because I'm not an automotive engineer but iirc got auto journalist who has tried both Geely and Proton version said that Proton version is more refined in ride and handling compared with Geely version..
