Which is better nano?
2nd Gen or 3rd Gen?

depends on which size n shape u like...i personally like the slim shape of 2nd gen , suits its nano tittle....

3rd gen...new....shorter......

do machines sell cheaper nano 2nd Gen?
for clearance stock?

i wonder if they still hav stock left now... it's been quite awhile since they had tat clearance sales...
anyway, the 3rd gen aint so bad... well priced and a lil video for everyone! ^^

why?
- apple positioned the price well with their new nano (RM619 & RM829)
- new interface
- slick design
- can play video!! <-- this make 3rd gen the winner

to be honest, 3rd 1 better, u can play video in cheaper price,
old 1, bored ady,.........

Yes, and bigger screen, come on It does look more elegant which grows on you! especially the black nano!:P

In terms of outlook, 2nd gen may seem to be better ( to me, it is sleeker )
In terms of battery usage, 2nd gen may be better coz it doesn't play video
Video may not be the important factor making 3rd gen Nano to become the winner. Ask urself frankly, do u wish to watch movies like Die Hard 4 or Transformer on a 2.5 inch iPod nano screen? Haha

iPod video... not iPod movie.
i mean, you can use it to view short clips... TV series which are 40 minutes... imagine watching the latest Heroes episode on the way to work in the morning... and CSI Miami on the way back... on the PUTRA ?

u enjoy tht 2.5" screen n get urself busy with it n exposed urself to snatch thief or pick pocket ????

does anyone know where the 2nd gen is available at? i'm at PJ area. seems like Apple only promotes the 3rd gen when i ask.

Video is at of high quality. Its quite possible to watch an entire movie on it, I won't doubt that.

mmhmm seconded. i've watched many episodes of smallvilles and a few movies on it. quality of playback is good. but i think eyesight will get worse if watch too much. the screen Is a bit small

Try reading the subtitles while watching anime on that 3rd Gen screen..CLEARLY A WINRAR

3rd Gen if u wanna play video and music .. 2nd Gen if u only wanna listen to music not watch video .. Now u choose

3rd Gen's the way to go... I like that nice color screen as well as the capability to play video and view pix!

Even if you don't watch movies.

Consider the changes in the interface, the 3rd Gen iPod has the reflection when displaying album art.

In addition, the main screen is split half displaying random album art.

Some ppl like the new interface, some hate it.

erm.. if you have tight budget, just go for 2nd gen...

Just bought iPod 3rd gen. Very hard to hold on to due to its wafer thin player. Chrome finish back very hard to maintain. Only use for few days, scratch & smudges all over the back.

Everything else is brilliant. Too bad the 4gb only comes in silver.

The vid playback is redundant to me at least. But to be honest? The audio playback on this is far from remarkable, the ipod mini was better but solidstate memory is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than minidrives. heh

audio quality depends on ur earphones..
get a better set..trust me..u'll eat ur words..

the nano 2nd gen is way better..i was in the dilemma me self as when me bought me 2nd gen the 3rd was edi out..
but hey..with a big diff in price..din need da vid playbk..way nicer design..the 2nd gen is the way to go!! well..for me though
