I want to refresh my fixed cabinets, preferably change the colours to all white. Now it's like some sort of laminated wood. let's say i want to keep the wood colour, but maybe make it more shiny? What kinda paint should i use? Do i need to prep it with sand paper first? These fixed cabinets are pretty old but the workmanship is really good, so i don't really wanna remove it and get somebody else to redo the whole thing. I'm thinking to change the door handles to something more modern, and also maybe just refresh the colours if i just need to do normal wallpaper or painting? Any recommendations? They look like these: It's laminated right?
