Any idea the supposed RM 0.45 return being transfer to Net Deposit? Was it partly due to your RM 400 withdrawal?

Could it be Kenanga fork out the extra RM 0.45, and transfer into your account as Net Deposit?

Think first before you ask, some here are impatient and dont like repeats.

Of course it is due to the withdrawal, if not there won't be transfer rm0.45 from returns to nett deposit.

Rm0.45 is part of the interest today.didnt i show the calculation above? Not kenanga's money

If kenaga simply fork out extra everytime people withdraw bankrupt lo..

So do you know what is the reason that partial of the returns being moved to Net Deposit when withdrawal occurs? hmm.gif

My guess is Kenanga imposing such withdrawal limitation (1 single bank account withdrawal), might be to let them to have a better control of the funds' outflow within a business day.

I think KDI system messed up the RM/USD valuation. Those who stated their invested amount such as RM 250 and RM 12k, statement showed 4.4x more of the value. Of which are very close to USD/MYR conversion rate.

Anyway, just my guess.

Hi guys, I just started investing yesterday, looks good for now. However, I'm having an issue with the app. It logs out all the time and I have to key in the credentials again and again... At least it should allow login with FaceID. sad.gif

Is this also a common problem for you guys?
*
Yupe. KDI app still amateurish for the time being. Need to manually login everytime.

Hi All, I just did a withdrawal request and received the email notification stating the withdrawal is successful, how long do I need to wait approximately to get the fund after the email notification? Thanks.
*
I gotten mine around 8pm to 9pm. They use Interbank GIRO, so it takes some time.

|
--> converting USD back to MYR = 1 local business day
|
--> fund transfer to your account - 1 local business day

PIDM does not protect KDI, so what happens if the funds in the account are scammed?
*
PIDM for banks only protect your fund if the bank/financial institution is bankrupt. It doesn't provide any protection for any scams or frauds.

Understood. Do you mean the risk is the same whether I invest in KDI or put a FD in the bank?
*
If you're solely talking about PIDM protected's FD vs KDI Save, then the risk is not the same.

KDI Save's fund is not PIDM protected, which means you bare your own loses if Kenanga gulung tikar.

I checked , it has now cleverly used that 3.00% EAR when you withdraw
instead of 2.95% you saw earlier which instantly alert everyone of reduced interest

KDI's operations team must be watching this thread closely. tongue.gif laugh.gif

the current FD rate in bank is between 1% to 2%..so this is good right?
*
1% - 2% FD rate is extremely low in current market.

With such low FD % rate, do you let the your bank auto-renew your FD? sweat.gif

Still need to wait?

Yes correct, if you deposit into KDI Save (not KDI Invest), it will be reflected in KDI system on Tuesday night.
