For student, any laptop with 16gb ram, with decent amount of storage and ok ok CPU can already. If they do cadwork also usually not very large projects. If they do rendering also not complicated parts. Heaviest thing they can run is either FEA on small part or fluid flow simulation.

But if work I still prefer desktop. No need kena pegang bola when want to do upgrades or repair. Nothing soldered down.

Quadro GPU and geforce is essentially the same chip with 2 distinct differences. The firmware and the memory.
