I'm new to PS2. So, may I ask the experts here, is there any different between original PS2 NTSC U/C and NTSC J games ? Buy which one better ? I'm using modded NTSC J PS2 slim, and wish to buy ori Fifa Soccer 08 ( hopefully it come with manual for the control and new features ).

there's not much difference since all ps2 here have mod-chips that enable region-free gaming.

according to p-a prices, the NTSC/J Asian version is cheaper by USD10

just want to know is NTSC/J DVD for e.g. FFX NTSC/J is with japanese speaking and japanese word in menu?

yes, most ps2 game in NTSC/J are JPN language only although there are some exceptions like those EA published game. Asian/JPN PS3 can only play ps2 games that are in NTSC/J format

Thanks for the feedback. So, that's mean NTSC U/C and NTSC J will be the same except the region code and the language is depend on the game ? Am I right ? If this the case, anybody know NTSC J for Fifa Soccer 08 is in english or japanese language ? It's not mention in play-asia website.

EA have English support for NTSC/J Asian version of their games.
