I cant imagine someone getting 7a+ plus to not get 4a* at a levels

well alot of factors plays in. My batch and myself is a good example.
Got tons of IGCSE and SPM kids, all atleast 5-6 A/A* or A-/A/A+ ones, literally everyone has a scholarship in some form.
Some of them and including me have their scholarship dropped after the first semester, for not coping up with the internal assessments.
To be honest, attending tuition classes until A-Level is still necessary, if you start the struggling in the beginning of the semesters in A Level.
A lot of my friends resat their A-Levels after finishing College. Gotten Bs Cs, eventually resat every Subject gotten A/A*.
Some dropped out during before A2 exams starts.
Some of my friends, went to Foundation again after feeling it is not worth to pay RM 3k+ to resit A Level to fix their grades.
I personally gotten rubbish A Level results without an "A" in my overall results, despite holding 8As in my SPM.
Applied to a course of my interest, using the two most WORST performing subjects. Went to Local Private University, reworked my arse off again for 4 years, just to gain First Class Honours for PTPTN Exemption.
Missed enrolling into UM via SatuChannel because I missed 1C in my A Levels Maths
Anyhow, I will slap myself again for thinking doing 4 subjects in A Levels is necessary.
Would be happier doing subjects with the least reading time. Like not taking Biology.
Also there will be tons of emotional and environmental factors a teenager need to deal with from
- not doing well in class
- loosing a scholarship
- family issues, relationship issues or being home sick
- sudden lost of finance due to their parents lost their job
- personal/parents has health issues, i.e. someone suffered minor stroke, or undergo chemotherapy, being emotionally depressed and suicidal after emotional breakup
- being independent and responsible for yourself, living alone at the age of 15-17.
Really there are tons of shit, some teenagers have to go through, that you might not have experienced yet.
If you suffered from poor results in A-Levels, you might need to find a way to pick yourself up, re-evaluate careers and university choices and goals, if resitting A-levels is not an option.
