QUOTE(maniack @ Feb 4 2022, 12:41 PM) yeah, been eyeing, but the outlet/inlet doesnt match.. for example in the shopee the inlet is at bottom This one comes with lots of variant. Better go to hardware shop to have a look. Shower + faucet + bidet, etc This post has been edited by haturaya: Feb 4 2022, 12:43 PM |

i dont think you will able to add a tap at the bottom. The bottom 'switch' is probably a 'stop cork'.
you may buy those 3 in 1 (rain shower + hand-held + tap) and install externally. Probably need to remove 1 tile and cut off the supply to original rain shower. |

But this model doesn't have faucet, only RS w/ hand shower. Just want to share my experience is that the water pressure reduced after installing this, probably the same main pipe is used for both RS and hand shower since water is coming in at top and diverting at bottom.so we have to play with 1 top inlet the current plan is to find a top inlet shower set |

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Feb 24 2022, 02:51 PM) hi. how do u control the whether the water only goes to the top rain shower or hand shower? based on the pic below, the valve is a 3 position (top shower - off - hand shower)? I have the exact question as you before I purchase the item. Normally the diverter is at the inlet, so you can divert immediately as the water comes in. But it's different with top inlet shower system.water outlet is from the top mounting point (with red arrow)? the ad says top supply but the pic looks like bottom supply (green arrow). how do you adjust for clearance because the water supply pipe coming from inside the wall might varies in length? Water supply at the top but the valve at the button. How does it control the top rain shower? Inside the big support tube, there's a small water tube that goes down, to the valve, and back to the top to the shower? I don't get it unless both top rain shower and hand shower are both operating together when the hand shower is used, which makes the pressure low. So to answer your questions: 1) Control water using diverter at the bottom: Rain shower - Off - Hand shower 2) The water inlet is at the top (red arrow). Bottom (green arrow) is just the round mounting plate, to screw into wall. But I used liquid nail to avoid potential drilling into water pipe behind the wall 3) I measured and used a faucet extender (10mm extender for my case). 4) Yup, I think that's the case, water from top goes down to the diverter and then if set to RS, then back to the top. I tried dismantling the pipe but couldn't see how it works unless I dissect it. I don't think they are both operating together |
