Hello folks, here's the story.

I subscribed to easy2game, the app gives me some really stunning latency on some servers, 140-170 or 200ish, yumm I say... But inevitably, whenever I log onto my official european server, I get even MORE lag than without it sad.gif

At this point, I play in a famous guild and this is really creating me loads of problems, as I can't play with >1000ms lag. I really really cant.

So, who of you is managing to have constantly >500ms latency on WoW?

With what connection? (I have iZZi, otherwise very good under any aspect)

If using wasy2game, which server, port?

If using VPN, which service?

Please help me out here, as I am losing months of good raiding sad.gif

all I ask is constant 500ms or even slightly better... I dont want to think it's impossible.. Someone was talking about 200ms with easy2game... Gib!!!1

Torque : >500ms? U mean 500-1000 ms right? How about IP hunting? But I guess it can be a pain to do. Those of us who do do IP hunting will leave the PC running the whole day. >.>

Or have you tried contacting easy2game about it?

I tried to contact them. But the problem is that my WoW latency does NOT change at all when i use the easy2game program... What could that be?

Small update: I requested easy2game their VPN service, and apparently I do get slighter less lag like that. But i am still under the impression that easy2game service is pretty useless to improve the lag, at least on european servers.

Can anyone confirm?

Can a firewall block or slow down VPN services?

Hope to solve this sad.gif

I don't think firewall will slow down VPN service. Easy2game service can't improve the lag to european server because either streamyx to easy2game server, or easy2game server itself to european game server has high latency. To solve this , you must select VPN server which has good latency to both side. You can try our service and see whether it can get better , we currently offer 2 days free trial.

Well, gan is right on that. If any of the connections between you and the WoW servers lag, then tough luck.

The firewall shouldn't be an issue and neither should the antivirus. Note that it's ok for WoW but not for some other online games.
