toyota supra was fast and lots of aftermarket tuner.
too bad toyota never really made an attempt to enter the serious supercar league. else, they could give ferrari a run for the money just like to carrera hunting nissan gt-r |

Raikkonen coy on Renault return to form
Alonso was expecting worse Link ~ http://en.f1-live.com QUOTE "We'll see what happens in the races," Raikkonen, at the circuit to test Ferrari's 2008 car, said. "I don't think they (Renault) have improved so much suddenly after last season with the old car, but let's wait and see," the Finn added. |

QUOTE(skylinegtr34rule4life @ Jan 18 2008, 01:19 AM) no it should be new GTR hunting the carrera now yaya... i missed the ' i remember top gear was giving a high rate on the nsx sometimes ago. and perhaps toyota is taking advantage of their more luxurios lexus and produced the sc460 instead, which i think looks cool. so far, ferrari was not up to the mark in practise. definitely need more tune up before the season start This post has been edited by yngwie: Jan 18 2008, 02:46 PM |

Kimi: Ferrari are in a great position
Link ~ http://www.planetf1.com QUOTE "Let's wait and see what the others do but we are certainly in a great position," he told Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper. "We were expecting an improvement from the F2007 and we certainly got it. Above all though this is not the final version of the car which will run in Australia and I am very satisfied." He added: "In the areas where it needed to improve, it has improved, for example slow corners. We worked hard in that area and I have got to say the results are good." As for F1's new ban on traction control, Raikkonen reckons that all those drivers who are whining about it being a safety issue should perhaps find a new job elsewhere. "For me it's not [more dangerous]," he said. "And if anybody doesn't like it they can always go and do something else." |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Jan 19 2008, 12:02 PM) renault should be up there with ferrari, mclaren and bimmer. Does Ross Brawn knows technical stuff of a car? honda was kinda quiet but we can't underestimate 'em. tim glock was fast in toyota too! more contender and it'll be more exiting. He must have known some of Ferrari's secrets. Or he's just a strategist. Then Honda might be a menace this year. |

if the guy still around, MSC could never hold most of the record in F1. Senna was awesome in qualifying. |
