Kimi:
QUOTE
"We're on the eve of one of the race weekends I really like. The Belgian GP is one of the highlights of the season and I usually obtain a good result at Spa.

"After Valencia I trained at home in Switzerland and then I went to Monza for a day of testing. The tests went really well: we tested some new solutions and the overall package seems to have improved.

At this circuit a good aero package is very important to face the numerous fast corners. The lap is very long and to have a good time you have to keep the right rhythm.

Whatever the outcome will be, it's nice to race at Spa. It's a very special feeling when you're driving on this track. And it's fantastic to drive here with a modern Formula One car with a really special atmosphere."

"There will also be a special moment this weekend. On Thursday afternoon the stamp the Finnish post has issued for the World Championships, which I've won in 2007, will be presented at the Ferrari motorhome. That's something really special to me: when I was a little boy I like to send postcards and I never imagined that one day I might be able to apply a stamp with my face on it. That will be really something I can tell my grandchildren."

Looking good.
Let see how he'll do on a track that he 'really like' laugh.gif

Kimi rarely spoke.
But when he does (about racing), it's very informative.

Hope Kimi's stamp better than Mika's laugh.gif

But still it's Kimi's fault of not being competitive enough at the moment.
Hope it does not come to that and Kimi still in the hunt for the title.
Hoping for a 1-2 this weekend and Hammy crashes laugh.gif

It's not over till it's over tongue.gif

Kimi 4th.
Judging from his performance as the 'Spa Specialist', I think he can still win this.
In 2004 he's 10th on the grid but manage to win it.
Won in 2005, 2nd on the grid and won in 2007, on pole.

Felt so down at the moment.
So cruel what happened to Kimi.
Now I know how Schumi fans felt when he DNF in Suzuka 2006.

But still he's to blame.
Last win was on April.

It's his fault of being impatient while driving in the wet on hard tyres.
Hammy using his head and drove slow...Kimi on the other hand does not.
So happy to see Hammy went wide etc. but Kimi even worse la pulak...spinning & hit wall doh.gif

Seems all the luck is with Hammy this year.

Maybe won't watch the rest of the GP.
Hope Massa won the WDC though.

I've said it before, if Ferrari lost both title's...it's because of the team.
Too many silly mistakes.
Mistakes that should not have happened especially at a crucial time like this when Massa looking good to keep both titles at Ferrari.
Massa would easily leading the standings after Singapore.

See...even Jean Todd was around.
Calling him back since the current team a bit sh**ty.

1-2 was possible if only Piquet Jr. drove maturely.

Yeah, it's like seeing Ferrari fall from the top to bottom. I feel like they no longer can shine although their dominance for the past seasons were pretty boring.

But for this race, Raikkonen  laugh.gif your nick! , he crashed his car to the barrier which is quite a shame..

I admit.
Kimi lost his title NOT because Hamilton's & McPencuri's supremacy.
But because Kimi made too many mistakes along with team errors sweat.gif

I was praying for Hammy to crash in Singapore.

Nonetheless, in setting his tenth fastest lap in 15 grands prix this year under the spotlights of the Far Eastern city-state, the 28-year-old equalled both his own record with McLaren in 2005 and Michael Schumacher's 2004 tally with the Scuderia - and now all he needs is one more fastest lap before season's end to make the achievement his own.

Come on Kimi...one more biggrin.gif

Just hope he learned more about the car as Massa did.
Massa's years as Ferrari test driver really paid off.

Raikkonen cool on race lap record
''The fastest race laps aren't worth anything''
Link ~ http://en.f1-live.com

QUOTE
Reigning world champion Kimi Raikkonen takes no pleasure in his record-equalling feat of ten fastest race laps so far in 2008.

Despite crashing out of fifth place in Singapore last weekend, the 28-year-old Finn's best tour remained unbeaten throughout the 61 lap night race.

The feat drew even with his Ferrari predecessor Michael Schumacher's 2004 record; a mantle Raikkonen equalled as a McLaren driver in 2005.

But he said on Thursday: "The fastest race laps aren't worth anything, if you don't combine them with the situation when they really count.
"

Raikkonen, who has conceded he will not be able to re-join the battle for this year's championship with his teammate Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton, said he is 'really sad' about his current trough.

"I can't explain this dark period and there's nothing I can do to change what has happened," the Finn added.

Ferrari set to go back to lollipop man

QUOTE
The Times reveals: "In an acknowledgement that all is not quite as it should be just now, the team has decided to go back to the lollipop for the three remaining races of this season.

However, they will again switch back to automated system when the 2009 season gets underway in Australia, and they also claim several other teams could follow their example.

"Ferrari are keeping their pit lane traffic lights system despite the dramas they have experienced recently. Several of their rivals are now researching their own version of the lights. They also say that they have heard nothing from the FIA on the su

Just can't help it when saw Hammy with his stupidity.

Still hoping for both titles to stay at Ferrari.
Don't give McPencuri any titles whatsoever...Pencuri...ptuiii!!!!

WDC looks slim for Massa but still possible.

Massa was so lucky yesterday.
Twice contact with another car...yet his car got no serious damage sweat.gif
Nuts! doh.gif (Although I was applauding + enjoy watching Hammy got screwed up laugh.gif )
