kimi said rain is coming down at far end of the track..so they just get on with the wet tyre only to know that god of rain release the waters 10min later

already since last season how many times gamble like this doesnt pay off

hmm although he predicted smartly but he shud be more professional and sportmanship, fully cloth changing, eat icecream and drink coke will giv wrong impression that he will retired. I'm the fan of Kimi, saw him like tat yesterday im thinking in my mind WTF! he wan gave up? while the rest of drivers focusing and discussion with team members under the heavy rain... dissapointed in him...

yeah. i know that ist a good impression at all. but the fact to the matter is, he knew his race is over the moment ferrari made a very bad call for him to come for a pitting and change to full we tyres while there isnt any rain fall yet. i was there yesterday and seeing the ferrari changed to full wet through the big screen and i looked around there isnt any rain at all, i said to myself WTF are they doing to kimi =,=.

ps:i dun mind he does that coz ive been his fan after hakkinen retired and have been following him from mclaren to ferrari and i saw he did that kind of 'cool' 'so what' 'i dun give a damn' attitudes a lot of times. believe it or not, that what makes him kimi raikkonen for u.

I kinda like the gamble with the wets, except i can't believe they let him take it.

From 6th place, even if the tyre switch was PRECISELY bang on time, it just takes 30-40 sec's for the front runner to do another tyre switch as well, which can happen in 1 lap's time. However if the gamble didn't pay off as it what happened he stood to lose 30s PER LAP. Not understand why you would gamble 1-5 laps (depending on when the rain really starts) of 30s slower to gain 30-40 sec's. Even if the God of rain told Kimi when the rain will come, it's still doesn't actually bring any tangible gain, as he was more than 30s off Button at the time of pit.

yeap indeed bro. but at least we did some effort to make up more points to our pocket, dun we? look at mclaren, despite how bad the car is (same as ours) lewis still got some point and that is hugely important in the long run for the championship game.

Ya, Kimi's car had KERS problem, though it may be a rouse.

They were considering if restart, to switch off the KERS and continue. But obviously that is no meaning..I heard this during live commentary, an Italian Ferrari spokesman said so.

Altough I just watch this during replay(as I was at the circuit), its still one of the best moments in Sepang 09....it surely was an entertaining race altough the ferrari's didnt do well......a lot of incidents.....a lot of overtaking......I saw Webber vs hamilton live taking each other in front of my eyes

IIRC, that's the 1st time we ever heard him on a radio

for me , its the 1st time i hear the radio very clear during massa's stay cool.....during racing, cant hardly hear what they are discussing
