But when I look at how Lewis passed Massa...Massa looks a bit 'surprised'.
Either he did not wish to block Lewis or Lewis caught him off guard. We know how Lewis always do when overtaking...he just slide in...in a kamikaze way Kimi always had problems when using old engine. If not that...mistakes during qualifying. Sometimes, it's just not a good weekend for some drivers....it happens. |

Bahrain and Turkey. |

Wah...lucky you.
Kimi did say that he hated sponsorship commitments etc. He's cool as ice but sometimes can be 'cold' too |

Kimi superbly in a race but not in qualifying.
I hope it'll change. Can't hide my disappointment when kimi lost pole by 0.028 of a second Hope Kimi can pass Massa after the 1st corner This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 25 2008, 06:17 AM |

QUOTE(jimjim @ May 25 2008, 01:05 PM) me too.. i was like WTF when he cross the line to take pole, what is this massa doing... Currently Massa outquali Kimi by 5-1.but i dont think there will be any changes in position before the first pit stop as the run down to the first corner is quite short and not much overtaking opportunity is possible there unless some one had a really bad start.. if that the case it migh even cause accident also... Maybe Monaco is not Kimi's fav. track. From last year...Kimi mostly shines in mid season. If it rains...with no tc... |

Ferrari only great in Monaco when Michael's on board.
I guess Massa gonna kept his Brazillian flag in his car Pity Kimi...all went wrong. Another really...really bad weekend. Pity Sutil though. But don't worry Sutil...F1 teams are watching your progress. Force India wants FIA to ban Kimi for 1-2 races. Cheh...it's not like Kimi did it a clumsy or kamikaze way. QUOTE Kimi Raikkonen A very poor race for me, right from the off. There was a problem with a wheel before the start and we broke the rules, which meant I was given a drive-through penalty. During the race, my main problem was trying to get the tyres to work as well as possible. Then we decided to change the strategy as we expected it to rain again, but it didnt happen. Twice I had to change the nose after breaking the front wing. So, as you can see, a long run of things going wrong which explains the 0 points. I am sorry for Sutil, who I hit with just a few laps to go. I lost control of the car under braking coming out of the tunnel and I could do nothing to avoid him. Its a shame how things went today, as we had the potential to do well. Its true that Ive lost the championship lead, but I always said the championship would be a very long one. Now we must prepare as well as possible for Canada where we will try to make up for this disappointment. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 26 2008, 02:30 AM |

Stewards take no action on Raikkonen crash
QUOTE The Monaco Grand Prix stewards have decided that no action was needed following the crash between Kimi Raikkonen and Adrian Sutil on Sunday. Raikkonen crashed into the back of Sutil with just a few minutes of the race left, robbing the Force India driver of what looked set to be his best finish in Formula One. Although the accident was clearly caused by Raikkonen, the stewards deemed no action was necessary. "The Stewards after hearing the explanation of both the Competitors representatives and the drivers decided that the incident requires no further action," they said in a statement. An emotional Sutil said after the race that he was sure Raikkonen had not done it on purpose. "It was a great race with an incredibly sad ending," he said. "We could have had fourth place. It's incredible bad luck that Kimi crashed into me. He obviously didn't do it on purpose." Raikkonen himself said he had just lost control of his car and there was nothing he could do to avoid hitting the Force India car. Link ~ http://www.autosport.com To be fair...Kimi needs to learn how to race in the wet. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 26 2008, 03:00 AM |

When Ferrari having a successs...what a success it was...1-2 etc.
When screw ups... See how Kimi was so unfortunate yesterday. Changed tyre at the last moment caused by a screw nut, thus...drive through penalty. They also took too long to decide whether to change to dry tyres or not. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 26 2008, 11:08 AM |

To be fair, McPencuri always strong in Monaco.
Because their car are good in slow circuit In a real circuit...Ferrari roars QUOTE(yngwie @ May 26 2008, 11:47 AM) thats very fundamental in the car's safety. high sped crash can easily happened if the they wasn't tight enough. IMO, their tyres worn out...I think that's why they missed the 1st corner.with the tight circuit of monaco, can't take the risk. massa made an error. so does kimi. both doesn't look comfy' in the rain. if it wasn't the safety car, massa could've win. look forward to the next race. QUOTE(yngwie @ May 26 2008, 12:07 PM) after the drive thru penalty. he looks good for at least 4th place. but he lost control of the car and bumped into adrian sutil's. shit does happens Yeah. I went 'god **** it' when he went to a drive through penalty. Then my jaw drops when he went out of shape and 'sondol' Sutil |

Kimi made the headlines but he did it unintentionally.
And people tend to look away on Alonso's clumsy 'hey Nicky...notice me at you side mirror...gave way' manouver Heikki also 'sondol' Button Canada...Ferrari looks pretty consistent. From 2001 - 2006...1st and 2nd respectively. Again...Massa with new engine...Kimi with old engine. |

It's healthy though...it means that they envy Kimi
You'll see...when Ferrari get another 1-2...they'll flee and do this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Anyways, I think we need people like Ross Brawn and Jean Todd in the team. Our drivers have the pace. We just need strategy and wise decisions. |

QUOTE(advanced @ May 30 2008, 08:20 AM) I only have the video when he's heading to the pits.No onboard when he broken it. If watching the on board camera...in the dry they're pushing like crazy. Kimi wrestle the steering wheel under acceleration...looks like the cars going to spunned Without tc...it's unforgiven. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 30 2008, 10:55 AM |
