really need advice and opinion,my abit ip35 pro with e6850 can only stable with 3.4 @1.38 vcore
anything more than that no matter whatever vcore,or ram setting used it wont boot

same board use with q6600 now stable at 3.4 @1.42vcore
sound a bit weird

another comparison, put the e6850 (same cpu) with gigabyte p35-ds3(value board),stable at 3.6@1.4 vcore

any opinion is appreciated coz try to google around the net, cant find any solution

thanks

muahahah it depends
if u want to post
tell whats ure voltages on mobo northbridge etc
ure strap on rams
ure ram mhz
ure multiplier..

so inconclusive.
willing to bet the e6850 is unstable
u want a 24/7 rig ure going to need more tweaking which at 3.8ghz is not for you at the moment
if googling didnt answer ure questions.. i doubt u will find the answer here.
better u gun at 3.6 24/7

u didnt even mention whats the fsb wall of the mobo and proc.. ( need to test with different procs and mobo)

also straps/ ram speeds also affects gpu overclock . ( never understood y on this also)

weird larr u ..
buy lousy elpida rams for the first rig
and micron D9 on the second rig.. heck if i was u would take out the dominator heatsink and swap with the ballistix. tongue.gif ( a job not for the faint hearted take note)

^ w0ot.. doncha think the vcore lil' too high for 35p chipset?

i mean the processor voltage coz ive seen alot 35p user doesnt really need that high voltage running on higher speed.

u might need check ur configuration later smile.gif
