Anyway, i have just recently updated my monster job portal and added 10 years of experience, with senior management roles.... then received a call from Singapore offering me their paid services, with discounts, totalling to RM800++... just wondering if it's worth it? or should i just ignore it...?

Or in other words, are those paid services by jobs portal (linkedin, indeed, monster, etc) worth it? anyone uses it and got positive feedbacks?

monster recruitment site got a lot of junk recruiter. I registered previously and got spammed with call to the point I email and ask them to delete my account because of the spam.

Don’t bother subscribing …. The moment they get on hold off your email add … they’ll spam u with all the jobs in the world even though you’ve clearly stated your experience and qualifications along with the resume on the portal 🤦

Not from monster but recruiter view my profile.

Monster a lot India recruitment company. Many jobs are contract or under their company but they still got good/permanent jobs under their recruitment company.

Currently a very good job seekong website is indeed.

Easier to get hired there.

monster is supposed to be more high class than jobstreet etc coz you wont find people that are looking into retail position there
but the issue with monster is the userbase is very small so if your profile meet the req, recruiters will call you
its not worth it imo coz the user base is too small so you often get spam by recruiters coz they are all fishing in this very small pond.
