QUOTE(ChildishGamer @ Jan 31 2022, 10:48 PM) I am late 30s now and planning to have a baby but I worry we cannot take it financially since having baby will destroy my career by means of stagnating and consuming all my energy and money to relax. Plus I am sure I will get laid off like many of my mama friends. Is there any mama here in their 50s now that can share their experience, only those who gave birth to first bb at late 30s and early 40s. I don't want to listen to those that just give birth cause you are just starting and also as clueless as me. please tell me what to expect. Had my 1st child when I was 36 and 2nd child when I was 39. It is extremely tiring having to take care of a child at this age, but it is the best thing that happened to me.

QUOTE(seather @ Feb 8 2022, 11:22 AM) if u conceive before, very high chance.. furthermore, you can conceive quite well into the mid 40s.. the question is whether you can carry the baby to full term and whether it is healthy.. Fully agreed.
