Maybe they try ask the worker they being abuse by not doing OT or rather doing OT???

No OT for them it's more abuse than ever
*
Ot is one issue, the other is restrictive movement. One can't change location or company of work.

Meanwhile in real life, workers beg to work OT so got extra cash send back home.

-bina rumah baru
-kasi mak bapak belanja
-kahwin
-kasi adik belajar.

Basic RM1200 / 26 days = 46.15 / 8 hours = 5.76 hourly rate

5.76 * 1.5 (OT rate) = 8.65 per hr

Lets say 1 day kerja 3 jam OT

8.65 * 3 * 26 hari = RM 674.9

This is on top of Basic 1200 + allowances up to RM 400.00

"abuse"

Ang moh apa lanciao tau?

KUALA LUMPUR: The US customs agency has banned imports from Malaysian disposable glove maker YTY Industry Holdings Sdn Bhd (YTY Group) over suspected forced labour practices, the seventh such ban on a Malaysian company in two years.

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said on Friday (Jan 28) it took the action "based on information that reasonably indicates the use of forced labour in YTY Group’s manufacturing operations".

YTY Group did not immediately respond on Saturday to an emailed request for comment.

Malaysian factories, including some of the world's major suppliers of palm oil and medical gloves, have come under increased scrutiny over suspected abuse of foreign workers, a significant part of the country's manufacturing workforce.

CBP said it had identified seven of the International Labour Organization's 11 indicators of forced labour during its investigation into YTY Group, including intimidation and threats, debt bondage, abusive working and living conditions, and excessive overtime.

The agency also determined on Friday that Malaysian palm oil producer Sime Darby Plantation Bhd uses forced labour in their operations and that the firm's goods were subject to seizure.

Effective Friday, the agency will detain goods made in Malaysia by YTY Group and its units YTY Industry Sdn Bhd, Green Prospect Sdn Bhd and GP Lumut at all US ports of entry.

Malehsia foreign labour policy is modelled after Saudi. Unless drastic change is made, more product and company will be effected.

A reason why MNC is reluctant to invest here.
*
But YTY itself is an MNC investor hmm.gif

They are Indonesian-India company.
