any recommended workshop nearby kepong / jalan ipoh area?
wanna replace my wheel bearing sudah kong..
faster i go louder it sounds
few place i asked and got quoted around 800-1000 for front two wheel, which i dont think so it should be that price, or am i wrong?

You can try here this shop with proper equipment available like electronic diagnose etc

Original equipment usually ain't cheap like RM 180 each for your wheels bearing unless you looking for local made or oem price should be within RM 100

Because foreman cannot directly take the the part from dealer usually from spare parts shop and foreman either RM 20 to 30 markup each or earn from labor

After done have to do a alignment if you bring your own part visit the shop okay too labor charge should be around same just your spare parts significant cheaper but they don't bear the warranty

Most Foreman now days to prevent this happen usually ask the machinery shop or spare park shop pump out the bearing since if anything happen got noise after changing the machinery shop replacement for it during pumping in the bearing any mistake can causing bearing damage so the noise will come out even new bearing

And most original equipment doesn't come with warranty, most warranty covered by shop or service center

As long the shop with proper equipment experience foreman usually nothing happened

Not too sure about your model, but some cars the fron wheel bearing is sold as a hub, or a knuckle, with fitting points for the suspension.

The high price quoted could be for the replacement fo the entire hub.

If go to tyre shop cn ask them if able to press out the bearing and replace with a new one.They can outsource that to a machine shop to do.

Sorry TS, off topic a little. Where to find shops that these workshops send to for pressing the bearing? I can take out my own wheel hub but looking for shop that can press out and in the bearing. I don't know how to find these shops in google.

i find via facebook marketplace (tukar bushing control arm / bearing), but alot of them is quite far from my area.
i found out segambut area alot of workshops and spareparts that have this service, charge around RM30 per bushing, bearing should be same tools.
