Hi all,
I'm currently experiencing arm weakness, strain and sometimes tingling at the fingers when I hold something (eg. phone, tablet). Went for a MRI scan and found out that my neck spine has a bulging disc that's pinching on my nerve causing these arm problems. Went for 7 chiropractic sessions but improvement seems to be very slow and each session is quite costly almost to RM400. Any advice on where that's affordable to treat my bulging neck spine disc?

I had this issue back in 2015. Tho mine was caused by injured muscle around the spine area which i didnt let heal properly. As a result, the spine collapsed and pinched the nerve.

I found out about it while in the gym and suddenly my left hand literally had no strength. Was even struggling to hold glass of water.
Did the mri the doc said let the neck muscle heal it will work itself out. But i did go for chiropractor (few sessions), had massages etc. Healing process was indeed slow. Took few months before the left arm got back in shape and caught up t my right side, strength wise.

Throughout the recovery, the left shoulder and arm was aching like mad tho.

As yours sounded like its even worse (herniated), its gonna take longer im afraid.

I do have strength when holding things just that it’s very easy to get feel weak and strained. I can still hold a glass or cup though. Mine is just a bulging disc. Not herniated….yet. How much was your treatment?

Isn't bulging disc and hernia the same?

From what I understanding, bulging disc is where the centre nucleus has bulge out with the disc. Herniation is where the disc have degenerated to the point it has crack/tear and thus the nucleus leaked out of the disc. Herniation is worse than bulging disc
