1) Prominent German testing website Computerblid.de already did a preliminary test on the battery life for the Exy version of the entire S22 series, and apparently it's a rough 1h IMPROVEMENT across the models. Hopefully it's similar with the Snap. Sos: https://bit.ly/3uJZtYW
2) S22/22+ DOES NOT do 10-120hz due to LTPS not LTPO tech with the screens UNLIKE WHAT SAMSUNG IS CLAIMING. Covered by various online sources. The strange thing is, most publications are saying they can only do 48-120 as per S21/21+ BUT this Korean YT video is clearly showing that the S22/22+ can drop to 24hz min. Sos:
3) The currently happening Voucherpalooza. I registered and haven't yet received my voucher either. Have since moved on to ordering from a telco so that's that, but the whole voucher situation kinda smells fishy
4) The S22 series (at least the ones with Snap) have significantly improved signal antennas. Sos: https://bit.ly/3uI0MI5
BTW, to the guy worried about the S22 screens dying like the S20, I don't think you should worry. The S20 had QHD screens doing 120hz in 2020 - too much tech pushing too hard far too early. I honestly think the drop to FHD 120hz with the S21 had to do with this, and consequently we have yet to hear any similar screen issue with the S21 series even now, more then a year after launch. So yeah, it shouldn't be something to worry about with the S22 series methinks.
As per SP, all the vids I've seen for the S22 series all had pre-applied film SPs on the screens out of the box. I already have Tempered Glass on order for mine though 😂
So ends my S22 Series Worry Digest for 13/02. Until next time

Since when Samsung claimed S22/22+ having LTPO? zzzz
It comes with 120Hz refresh rate so it will reduce the flickering issue. Most amoled screen has that issues and depend on your eyes sensitivity. If your eyes are very sensitive, you can choose IPS screen phone like IPhone 11. However most flagship phones now comes with amoled screen.
Ya when at max probably >30hz should be ok, but when reading <30hz I think long term will caused discomfort?
Day 4... finally started to game.. playing my fav Honkai Impact 3 abit disappointing, the smoothness does not seem to be better than my OP6. And it heats up just as much ! Sure screen is more colourful and wider, but damn the heat. Only after come back home saw this. Ugh. I dont wanna tweak. samsung what are you doing?!?!?!
I am using RHB Shell Card. anything more than RM250 it will require Pin...but once i entered the Pin, the transaction will still fail. need to use my physical card. rather frustrating since i made few large transcation.
is this an issue with RHB instead?
btw, since this is S22 thread, S22 (the small one) looks gorgeous
the battery charge cycle only consider 1 full cycle from the accumulate of 100% charge regardless you charge 50% per time, then 2 times consider 1 cycle, or you charge 0-100% per time then it is 1 cycle so 85% won't help to make the lifespan longer
