Given time, LOCA based curved glass privacy TGs will surely come for the Ultra. As for normal TGs, it shouldn't take too long for more choices to pop up, considering how prolific the Ultra is.

I'm more worried about my baby 22, as it might be sidelined next to its + and Ultra siblings.

Since the SGN10+ I've used three Samsung phones with SD processors - the S10 Lite, the M51 and currently using the A52S 5G. I can attest that all three phones have better signal strength and battery performance compared to their Exynos flagship cousins. So I think it's highly unlikely the signal strength issue of the Note 10+ will be passed down to the S22U. I heard even the S21 series had marked improvements from before as well, but my experience with the SGN10+ was enough for me to never consider another Exynos powered Samsung again - ever.

Edit: Oh, the app to check the signal strength was some random signal strength check app that I googled and installed just to prove a point. I removed the app since and have not used it again. Can't remember what it's called.
No bro, didn't try the S21U. My last Sammy flagship was the Note 10+. Since then been avoiding Exynos like crazy

My cousin has the employee purchase privileges and she has ordered a S22U, but she had a case of buyer's remorse after that and texted me to see if I wanted the unit and I said OK. There's still a chance she might want to keep it after the phone arrives and if that is the case then I'll probably get one later on when I can get a good deal for it. But yes, it looks like my two year hiatus from Samsung flagships will end this year.

Only because samsung is using a more secured ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, compare with optical sensor used on other phones. That said, normal screen protector, film/ tpu type will work flawlessly. For tempered glass you may have to spend more or find the correct one for the sensor to work, but even the best tempered glass will affect the sensitivity somehow.

Exactly lol. TG feels so much better. Gel types just sucks. Btw, those privacy hydrogel serves its purpose well. On returns though your screen gets dimmer and you have to jam up your brightness, end up consume more battery.
