QUOTE(c64 @ Jan 20 2022, 11:46 AM) They are going for satellite GPS system soon. ERP outdated liao. In Malaysia, we still play with sticker mainan budak-budak. This can never be implemented in the West. This is invasion of privacy. I don't agree with GPS

One time use RFID. Got charged twice but gate won't lift. Had to gostan to the TNG lane beside instead. The TNG sensor beside the driver turn off. Bodo betul
At least leave the TNG sensor on la just in case. Turn off for what? Save electricity?

QUOTE(c64 @ Jan 20 2022, 11:37 AM) Singapore don't use RFID AFAIK. https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/asian-tec...pricing-system/it's battery power unit much like SmartTag. Basically no passive RFID can match any active device latency. You can't expect jimat petrol and your car to be fast. SG using active RFID, it broadcast its signal, need battery + bulky unit TNG using passive RFID, it wait for signal before reply, can be very small

QUOTE(Gentleman_League @ Jan 20 2022, 11:33 AM) ok so singapore has been using RFID for ages right? i believed they dont even have those barrier type , just drive thru? malaysia cannot follow like this meh transitioning stage, so still need barrier when enough road user using RFID (80% IIRC), they'll remove the barriers

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Jan 20 2022, 12:01 PM) With Barrier slowing down those cars already cannot detect, if remove barrier when barrier removed, the sensor power will increase to max. now its capped to minimum to prevent it from detecting rfid signal from other lanes.
