Lastly KONAMI is ready to make some moolah and introduce the full version of YGO in online form.

Though the game is pure gacha based for now, which I think it fall short of PTCGO's real and online dual mode scheme (buying real pack give you chance to draw at online).



Update: The game is actually surprisingly not as cash grab as I'm expecting. You can recover 1/3 of your junks/unwanted cards by thrashing them. Then you can directly generate the cards you want/need without going through the deep gacha pool, kudos to Konami on this.

Probably because this game is still new and in promo period, I gotten and spent more than 6k in game currency (which is worth bout RM200-300) by clearing the SOLO campaign mode and login in only.

Updated with some thoughts after playing for 2 days.

Day 4 update: I think I get the grasp of this game's scheme already.

If you want 0-compromise fully meta deck, then likely it gonna have plenty of UR/SR cards which you only gotten about 0-2/3-6 per 10 packs (which cost 1000 in game currency). And to adjust to the very cards you need, the trading ratio is 3:1 (where you dump 3 junks for points to grab 1 desired card).

At the moment the game is charging RM125 for 3.5k of in game currency.

Here is my fun non-meta deck. Can win occasionally if not facing fully meta, but at worse can lose 10 rounds in a row, LOL...

My review on this game

- turn 1, i put one monster card in face up position and set one card down, i end my turn
- turn 2, opponent do normal, special, fusion, link, syncro summon 99 times, drawed whole deck, filled all 12 card slots, sent cards graveyard and banish them 99 times, discarded my hand card and my deck, and kill me with a 9999/9999 damage/defend monster with negate all effect and immune to death monster

3rd week update:

- Mobile version is out already, but very laggy even on iOS.
- There's additional 1k gems (good for 10 pulls) to celebrate the game's 10M download.
- Off-metas have very little play in current format.
