Hi guys, good day! Recently due to flood, my macbook was damaged and sent to Machines for repair. Then they told me that the device is not able to be repaired due to some circumstances. Therefore, they would replace a new unit instead. I bought this protection plan which covers accidental or liquid damage. https://www.machines.com.my/collections/mac...protection-planI then received this email asking to describe on how the damage took place. Therefore, would need suggestion if I shall tell them it is due to flood or tell them it was normal water spill on it? Flood would be considered as natural disaster, I don't want later them telling me flood damage is not covered.

If your protections covered liquid damage, then ask machines why do they want to know and the definition of liquid damage by machines ..
You could also ask for the protections indemnifications and exclusions

Read what does MPP cover and craft your story correctly. If got mud stain say you drop into a pond or something. If they are covered they won't ask questions. Thread carefully and reply only if necessary.
