Household Hakmilik Sementara Daftar, I thought is freehold until I notice tis

Problem Statement:
I have finished house instalment. It is second hand house. and today I noticed one thing in mine Cukai Tanah note written "[HSD] Hakmilik Sementara Daftar. I thought mine house is freehold house but not understand why it mentioned HSD. compare to mine friend their written is "Geran".

So when I check my Geran, it stated also HMD. then one section mentioned this "Dalam pelan yang di bawah ini, sempadan yang ditunjukkan dengan warna merah, belum ditetapkan secara ukur, adalah sementara sahaja"

Questions
1. This HMD is it related to our understanding of freehold term?
2. How to selesai this problem - is it to get Juru Ukur to perform measurement buyoff?
3. How much the cost and time needed for Juru Ukur to complete this?
4. Will we to update Geran to Hakmilik Kekal and Cukai Tanah note to Geran type?

i think i got some useful info from ASP explanation. so at least solved the concern of hakmilik. he also explain who to find to fix that. so next thing is to know how the prcess, cost and time.

Owner dont have to do anything. Hak Milik Sementara is as good a geran. Registered owner can perform transactions such as selling, leasing and mortgage.

The boundary survey is done by the land office for the entire development and thereafter the HMS is replace with a geran.

but the house project here completed construction >10yrs before i bought it second hand. and seem like the land office (pejabat tanah) too lazy to do the ukuran hmm.gif

Many are more than 30 years also no geran yet.

Worst, some old flats and apartments no strata title also and still under master title.Developers either close shop or cannot be located or land issue problems.
