First thing to find out is why an MBA is needed?

if your firm and basically your manager wanted to promote you to a prominent position, hence the need to pad your "resume", then ask ur manager which MBA school to attend.
Otherwise, no point, and your decision is basically you want to spend your time to get a degree.

my firm encourages those without a degree to get MBA just so that as departments, they don't look so bad. But I noticed that only those without a bachelor degree are encouraged to get an MBA.

I don't really know about MBAs from uni in country, but I know University of Nottingham (the semenyih one) is quite popular amongst those in my firm. Quiet a few went there.
Maybe can check that out?

My MBA fr University of Sunderland that was offered by Segi College previously. Not sure if they are still offering this course. I did it part time & complete it in 2 yrs.

Sadly no promotion or increment even tho it was funded 80% by the company (only need to tie back with company 2 yr service).
Hence it was a good bargain.😅

Like many mentioned, just a ticket for me so I can apply for managerial position in MNC hehe

USM should be quite cheap.

I encourage people with working experience looking to improve themselves to take MBA. Especially people like your case, where it formalizes what you acquired through practical working life, and provides additional intellectual and theoretical rigor to your existing knowledge. Also expands your worldview a little.
It's not just about money, but also personal growth and living a more intellectually richer life.

MBA is pretty much useless for fresh grad coz they will see no head or tail.

Your company pay for your MBA?

I did my MBA part time in UPM, but it's actually an independent school called Putra Business School. Weeknight classes in campus. This was in 2015.

Costs around 26k, can withdraw epf acc 2.

Just get an affordable MBA, preferably online. Look up Inti Online MBA.

I just completed my part time MBA at Inti for 24k for around 1 year and 9 month. Average i took two subject per semester, there are two semester i took 1 subject ( project thesis, kinda heavy)
