What do u mean? Lean can be achieved by cutting/reducing daily calorie intake slightly, while still working out at the gym

6 month into weight session
In body fat 13.5%
But still with some tummy due to previous beer sessions

Now cut beer

Can you explain and cite a few credible sources that explain how beer by itself causes a tummy.
How does beer cause a lean person (10%~13% bodyfat) to have a tummy?

Beer contains alcohol, and can only be processed by the liver. One of the product (amongst many dangerous compounds) of metabolizing alcohol is fatty acids, which is either stored on the liver, or is sent to nearby adipose tissue for storage, resulting in a large tummy, ie visceral fat.

That's why belly fat is the indicator of someone's health, because visceral fat is inflammatory, and oftentimes lead to other problems.

Even if its converted to fat, that fat will be burned off in a caloric deficit just like fat in your body storage or other food.

If I maintain a 500cal deficit, and drink 1 can beer daily, I will still end up with 6 pack abs in ~3 months.

Except that's not how it works. Your body does not run on thermal energy. You can try, and you can lose some weight, and it will bounce back so hard you won't realize what went wrong, because it worked for a while.

You will only bounce back if you go into caloric surplus.

U will keep losing weigh if you stay in caloric deficit regardless if you drink alcohol.
You cannot defy physics.

Short term maybe. But long term, you're going to become fat and tired, because you're telling your body "i'm starving" and your body is going to lower your metabolic rate because all you're consuming are carbs and alcohol.

There's a reason why almost all participants in "The Biggest Loser" regain back their weight, and in some cases put on even more, almost immediate after.

Calorie restriction doesn't work, because your body will down-regulate your metabolism because you're not eating the right food for it, and worse still, your health is going to suffer.

If your body TDEE drops by 300~500cal once your lose weight, you will have to recalculate your new TDEE and get back into caloric deficit.
TDEE ussualy reduce cause your body is lighter, moving around use less cals.
Not always because "metabolism slows cause starving"
Calorie deficit always works. Its physics.

Biggest losers gain back weight cause they go into big surplus due to eat alot food after the show.
That's why you shud be in 300~500 deficit not crash diet 1500 deficit.

It's ussualy wise to eat at TDEE after a deficit for few months to give yourself a break before resuming deficit later on.

Stop reading any news website to get your info. They ussualy suck and full of misinformation.

Just to add, I did a crash diet 1000 calorie deficit cut 2 months ago. Lost 1kg/week till total 6kg lost.
Now I am just maintaining my new weight by eating at TDEE.
You cannot gain back weight magically without caloric surplus.

You obviously didn't digest the part where it states your body will lower its metabolic rate and change its set point when you calorie restrict. Please read the article properly, the Biggest Losers gain back weight NOT because they ate a surplus, but it's because their metabolic rate dropped. One even gained weight just by drinking water.

Look, a calorie is not a calorie, not all calories are the same. People keep thinking "it's physics, it's physics" when they don't understand the basic physics, which is YOUR BODY DOES NOT RUN ON HEAT. When I see people say that, I know they don't know what a calorie is.

No you only can gain weigh in surplus no matter what.
Of course TDEE gonna drop alot if you lose 100kgs. Adjust your diet intake accordingly.
My TDEE at 85kg was 3100 cals, now at 81kg is 2800cals.

Thanks for confirming you didn't read (nor understand) the articles I posted, and also confirming you don't understand set point.

Like I said, you just simply don't understand how the body works.

Why don't you answer me this instead. What is a calorie?

Over time...

Calories surplus = weight gain
Calories deficit = weight loss

Don't complicate things mang
