Want to know the resale value, just go check out how much the maintenance cost. Inversely proportional to each other. But for every dollar u save in resale value you are highly likely to end up spending 2-3x that saving in time wasted at workshop n the repair bills.

If you are buying a car for it's resale value it means you can't afford to buy that car.

u think they won't care only
if u work in car showroom thn you'll know
u should have seen it in their face on how they response when the SA tell them how much their S class or range rover is worth laugh.gif

when they know how much, end up they don't even bother trading it in or sell it because it's basically worthless

and yes, it supposedly cost more than 200k but u go look at mudah...got people sell RM200k(negotiable) and the car is still there(keep refreshing everyday) laugh.gif

another excuse they use is "this is the market price"

i'm there like bro...yes, it's market price...but market price is only if your car is in pristine condition
if it needs so much repair, u gotta lower your price

That is true. Because they have been expecting it and accept that this is the value for their used luxury car. It's only wannabes and people who could not afford the car which would feel this way.

Anyway people who buy these cars are never much bothered about the resale value because their net worth is many times higher. It's just peanuts for them.
