my unit head gave me a server case, MIMOS case... but its too big but can fit normal atx mobo and other normal desktop hardware... but i've no idea bout how will it look like after mod...

built ur own super computer............ ram about 8GB, monitor 30", high end proc, SLi @ crossfire, 1TB hdd x 4........ put many fan... puas....

4 x 50mm fan (Back) (Combo Fan [custom]... 2 fans per pair... 2 pairs for 2 blow hole)
4 x 80mm fan (Different Brands) (Side)
1 x 120mm fan (Side) (LED)
2 x 80mm fan (Top) (LED)
2 x 80mm fan with circle CCFL (front) (Combo fan [custom].. 2 fans per pair... 1 pair for a front blow hole)

so i'm planning equal amount of fans in this server case... and no water cooling stuff (no money)

spray it pure black....inside and out...

cut out the fan grills for better air flow...

I believe it is such a heavy casing there. Give it all black. Then a logo beside it with silver color.

why wanna leaev it that way? who cares about no value passion to modding it can transform to a kick ass case if mod nicely

waa..nice design bro..but since u r about to use many fans, i think u hav to throw away ur cap itik psu.. oso on the top..mybe u can add some windows so dat it will not look so empty..juz my 2cents..

forget the 50mm fans....itll be noisy...make another window in that area instead.

concentrate on using 120mm only. (except for the rear exhaust).

the front door, try and keep it as clean as possible. maybe make some intake vents or something. and mount the 120mm fans behind the vents.

yup..but u need a very good colour selection on the front panel..let it hav a clean n nice looking..

i agree with madman idea, concentrate on 120mm if possible, use 80mm after no choice.........

btw the casing is extremely long......very nice.......

why dun u cut the whole top panel clear then mount ur fan on arcylic instead, much better looking i said

ok~ updated my design~ no more 50mm fans, concentrate on 120mm and only at the rear cannot put 120mm coz small spaces...

added more window on the top, but mayb gonna change it to big window on the top like what LExus65 suggested... then cut holes on acrylic for fans will be easier...

This is about front door... not sure gonna use 3 x 120mm or 4 x 80mm fans... need suggestion....i got 2 ideas for front design..

[1] Use black tinted acrylic, apply it to the whole front panel, so it will be full glossy front panel... but the spoiler is, holes for air ventilation, have to drill out small holes at the needed area...

[2] Use black grill, usually used on PC case and Speaker.. apply it to the whole front panel... i think this 1 is better than acrylic... full ventilation available... no extra drilling...

i think for the front,use 3x120mm fan..as the main case, u got many acrylic windows mybe u can try to apply mesh on ur front panel..but,its kinda hard to get..i oso looking for it..

well it seems u can fit 8*80mm fan on ur front panel hehe............

well mesh is hard to find around here........may be u go shopping around for material 1st before deciding what to do

Omara86, this is just a suggestion from my POV.
From my POV, your design has too many arcylic window.

First off, why do you need window for 5.25bays?
Is there anything there that you really want to show?

Second, the small window, what's that for?
I think it'll be better if you just make larger sidewindow and the smaller window into one sidewindow.

The top panel window, do you really need that?
And do you really need two blowhole on the top?

If there's a casing that has top blowhole, it'll be an exhaust blowhole which is going to be used to speed up the exhaust for the hot air to be blown out.
I think you only need one blowhole for that.

If i were you, i'd concentrate on this:
Keep the design as simple & smooth as possible. But, use a really good paint on the casing, better yet, paint the casing as smooth as possible to make it mirror shine.

With that, you'll have a superb casing to be shown off.
Not by complicated arcylic window here and there, just a simple mod but paired the mod with a superb mirror shine paint.

Just my suggestion.

i think any met paint will do..but try to get the recommended 1..i owez use samurai brand..but to get the mirror shining need a lot of polishing work..mybe u hv to spend the whole weekend just to do it..

with such a long casing, i would personally use the 3x120mm fans radiator on top..now thats masssive..
