dual boot is easy. there is option of runnning ubuntu in win 11 using WSL 2 recommend that u look it up. quite easy to setup also

Treat both HDD or SSD same as a storage medium, just difference in speed and performance, that's all.

with dual boot, Windows 11 and Linux Ubuntu, they will be perfect. in the mean time, I prefer linux Chrome os.

Just a reminder: There shouldn't be any data loss while using this method, but it’s always recommended to back up any important Data from windows 11 just to be on a safer side, in case something goes wrong, you can retrieve the data.
