dunno whether this has been posted before, but the other day i saw in a HK forum, ppl there use Linux as their PS3 OS. Didnt read through all the techinical stuff (dont understand it anyway). Anyone tried it? What's good bout having Linux OS on PS3 anyway?

hm..bout the YDL...i just have to download it, burn it into a dvd, put into the ps3, and it's done? no manually set up..like for the wireless connection, etc?

guys..when i wanna use an external HDD on ps3, it's file system should be FAT32 right? but when i tried to format it into FAT32 from NTFS, i dont have the option to choose FAT32...how ar?

guys..i need to ask a noob question, i know nothing bout linux. I was trying to install YDL on my ps3, but it keep showing: kboot:g... with the "g" flipping, and repeating itself again and again. what does that mean? anyone knows how to install it? i'm using a dvi connection. help!!

already downloaded...i got up to the installation part...when i tab to "install"..the line

I've gone through the wireless setup you provided...but i keep getting the "Fatal Module Gelic Network Driver Not Found" under Network config -> Hardware. And ofcourse, it fails to connect nor to detect any connection.

I've tried putting in Key with and without 0x. Is this Key same as WPA Key?

aah...i just got through...now my ps3 can get into router's admin. but dunno why when open firefox..can load any page...zzz....

i think i've got a problem with my ps3....i was playing half way...then it blank out...the screen turned black...so...i pressed the power button till it shuts down..but when i turn it back on, there's the green light...but the screen is still blank...am i in trouble?

yeah..tried that...even after the 2nd beep...still nothing...shiet....is my HD dead?
