PS3 lens problem occurs to all region not only Asian region. The good news is that it has replacement.

order lense tuh dari Spain. dia bukan dari HK. so lense tu datang dari Spain. But aku rasa works fine with any region of ps. kalo ko nak ko pm aku nombo tepon semua. kita borak thru tepon

btw, the lense is brand new ar? blu ray lense? does the ps3 has 2 lense inside? one for dvd and one for bluray?

The lens is new and it's BD lens. Got only one lens. Can read BD/DVD/CD.

from my naked eye macam used je. tapi tot cakap brand new.. ekot expert lah satu lense je kalo u cari kat ebay ada gambar lense tu. exactly like that lah dia hantar.

according to the sellear, the actual part from sony was suppose to be the part number ends with 2 As, but this one have 3 As. thats y its rejected. so he sell very cheap

FYI SONY never produces lenses. There are only 2 lens maker in the world IIRC, one is SANYO and the other I can't remember. SONY just outsourcing the lens. I got this info a few yrs back during during repairing PS2 time. I'm not sure about now but SANYO still the #1 lens producer in the world. All vendors like LG/Hitachi, Samsung/Toshiba, SONY and etc are getting the lenses from SANYO.
