my Old Peugeot 207 is showing these errors upon turning the key, car won't start immediately and it takes extra few seconds for petrol pump to kick in.

If try to start the car immediately after switching it on, it won't start.

Anti Pollution faults kicks in constantly/randomly upon successful ignition and on the road, I don't know what's wrong with it or how to fix it.


Confirmed working
1. key fob still locks/unlocks the car normally.
2. Battery is still working.

Symptoms
1. Observed higher petrol consumption.
2. Fault errors as mentioned in the title.

Anyone has faced such problems before and how do you resolve this?

change o2 sensor

so this means the o2 sensor is preventing the car from starting and triggering ECU Errors ?

The starting problem could be due to following in 207.
1) sticky fuel pump relay (probably this)
2) crankshaft position sensor
3) faulty fuel pump
4) wiring
5) ecu

As for anti pollution fault it's better to plug a reader to check. Should have multiple faults.

need to check maf/map sensor and ur o2 sensor

Please sent to a reputable continental workshop and check it out.
Too many possibility, you need OBD reader to read the fault codes and diagnose. Mostly issues from fuel pump, maf/map sensor, o2 sensor and also ignition related parts like coil + spark plugs need to check it out.

are those cheap "wireless" odb2 reliable?

I'm using the cheap Rm 12 bluetooth obd2 daily for my Axia and Exora.
No issues. Able to read error codes and clear them from the app.

I have check compatibility with your Peugeot 207 and the obd2 protocol is supported.

bought a cheap bt odb2 elm327 from shopee, won't connect to ECU pops out. :| tried with different phones, still the same.

Tried on myvi and peugeout.

not sure ur steps.
mine is plug in, turn key without start. pair bt to elm327, open app.
detect elm327, choose car brand.

i use car scanner, carbit. both able access ecu

Have you checked with the seller if this you receive a defective OBD adapter.
And what app are you using to connect?
