Hello,

Recently I have been receiving daily calls from UK number prefix (+447xxxxx) and Hong Kong Prefix (+852xxxxx) on daily basis. This call usually will come in the evening from 6pm onwards to 11pm without failed daily. They will call you at least 2 to 3 times continuously before they stop calling.

I did not pick up any of the call as i suspect is a scam call or spam call and it is really annoying to receive the call daily.

I have blocked all these number that i receive but it doesn't help cuz it will use another set of new number to call in.

Just want to check did anybody recently receive overseas calls particularly from UK (+44) and HKG (+852) particularly from Maxis line and did you guys answer any of those calls?

Appreciate your feedback on the matter if you have encounter this issue.

yes i also got these calls.. lucky my phone got this feature show me its spam calls or not.. i see spam i straight away block it

me too. 1 day can get more than 5 calls , mostly UK , few from HK.

Yeah ... is really annoying to received call daily although we try our best to blocked all the calls.

I also wonder mobile operator or MCMC can do something about this issue or not.

Anybody have any experience handling or solve this kind of issue.

Cuz this scammer or spammer been using different set of numbers to call in for each call.

yeah! daily 6pm - 11pm....WTH. now they even more clever by adding +60 in front make you not able to block the entire country code

me also received such calls... damn annoying!
never fail calling me everyday. Me just spoke malay or chinese to them if got time play with them.
If they are such a good investment company, no need cold calls, ppl will call them and give them money
Can't ban those number as i might get call from those countries as well

If Hong Kong / UK mebbe it's forex trading marketing department? I only receive calls from African countries and recently Papua new guinea. They call you 5 second and hang up. So if I call them back, I get charged like $3/min. I just use an app to block all calls from the African countries

Yeh I used to work as telemarketer during my university summer holiday. Standard chartered outsource their personal loan marketing to the company. Company gives me cold call list of names and contact numbers. Then they instructed me if someone asked me how I get his number, say because he filled up lucky draw or survey forms etc

it started somewhere in 24th dec or 28th dec.
same exact thing happen to me and a lot of people.
i block until lazy.
when they ring now, i let them ring until line cut off.
now i getting maybe 1 or 2 call a day.
the frequency like dropping.
is like a trial and error.
i cut their call they still call.
i just dont pick up for now.

I think you just need to use a blocking app, after about 1 week of using the blocking app, they stopped calling. The blocking app need to be fast one, it reject the call without ringing. If you let the call ring once, they still think there is chance, and the software will keep trying the other day again.
