Don't forget, that a purchase of laptop can get tax rebate. Obviously you can't claim it, it's not in your name. But the family of the person that helps you can claim it. So there can be a win win situation there.

I think these are some of the most compatible laptop models for installing the Ubuntu OS:
1. Lenovo Thinkpad E15
2. Asus Zenbook 13
3. Acer Chromebook 15
4. HP Chromebook

Hi. I am interested to buy a laptop which is pre-installed with Ubuntu or is compatible with Ubuntu Operating System. I am looked around some brands like Dell Inspiron and so on. My budget is Rm 3k~4k. The laptop is mainly used for doing  Deep Learning/ server stuff. I expect some medium Graphic card is integrated with it. Mind sifu sheds some light on this matter?
