I'm using gamesir g3s but after updating the firmware, the wireless dongle isn't connecting.
But wired connection still works fine.
The only reason I picked the above is because I prefer the parallel configuration of playstation controllers but with the ABXY of Xbox so I can easily see the buttons on pc.
I have a wired Xbox controller but I don't like the size of it.
So far the only option right now for me is to get another g3s or the 8bitdo xbox sn30 pro, even then I'm not sure if it fully works with PC.
Good luck on your search.

If you can get ORIGINAL (NOT OEM) Xbox 360 controller, then this is the best.

If not, Xbox One S or X series controller is the best.

But at the end of the day it's up to you and your hands.

best =/= budget

anyway i use xbox 1 ori and gamersir t4p. both good

wired. both similar. tho xbox better compatibility i feel.
xbox 1 slightly more heavy, better vibrations if u care. more solid.

wireless, gamesir is much superior. can connect to pc, android, ios. xbox pc only i tested so far. xbox 1 can connect to bluetooth to pc natively. just install driver. or buy the xbox bluetooth dongle. imo abit more headache then gamesir. startup and connecting longer process than gamesir. gamesir comes with a usb dongle. ez. by defaults its design as wireless controller. xbox is better wired. plus xbox use AA batteries for wireless function.

gamesire comes with xtra back buttons. 4 to be exact.

both good, i prefer xbox cuz its feel solid. tho if i travel or  wanna chill from bed or far abit gamesir. plus got attachment for smartphone gaming. only game i can think is genshin. or some pc to mobile convert game.

edit

i really dislike the led rgb they added on the gamesir,
especially around the joy stick
i like to game in dark room at night. its distracting

No idea, it's on win10.
The firmware updated and everything, but it just wouldn't connect.
Found a different controller
Steelseries stratus duo.
PS layout with abxy.
Only downside is battery life and micro USB port.

Fantech GP11 used to go for rm45, now mcm haram the price.

Good for short term budget kontoler lol, but will break quickly especially the Analog sticks (pressing for Run or Targeting etc).

For rm110-120 can get a wired Xbox 360 kontoler liao, forgot the designated number, but still available in most PC stores, blek kontoler in red box.

Ori DS4 and Xbox One / S used to go for rm170+, but I think nowadays it's gone upwards to rm200-210 liao.

You can use any cheap bluetooth dongle for the Xbox controller, BUT kapel years ago got Mikrosoft security update involving bluetooth radio connectivity, which causes severe issues globally, breaking bluetooth connection on hardwares with specific old firmwares.

So you might find <rm10 dongle that either works or simply don't, and some online store would actually put a disclaimer in their sales page lol.

In my recent case I had the good old Wired 360 like rm120 ages ago, sold it off coz not using anymore.

Then went through 3 units of Pantek GP11 in the span of like 6-9mths or so, playing through Sekiro and Souls series lol.
Each one broke the Analog sticks.

Then I got the Xbone S kontoler, for rm170, cheap dongle didn't work, so had to buy like rm35 8-Bitdo dongle
Sold it off again after awhile coz not using.

Then bought a DS4 for rm170 oso, since I habe the 8bitdo dongle it's plug and play and detected as X-Input (Xbox) kontoler, so no need to mess around with 3rd party plugins. Can change to D-input oso.

Xbox pad has the better ergonomics, period.
Moving your thumb from Left Stick down to D-pad for quick item shortcuts, quickly is crucial in critical games like Souls or MonHun whatever.

You kenot do the above with a DS4, it's too small and cramped together, often the thumb will knock the left stick when quickly jumping from Stick > Pad > Stick again.
Hence the claw grip style most people had to adapt to with a DS4, thumb on stick, index / pointing finger rested on d-pad.
Which is fucking cacat and could lead to permanent injuries.

DS4 overall is so small it's actually making my right knuckles hurt, particularly the ring finger knuckle.
Trigger finger condition. It's already cacat from using mice my whole life, now it's worsen bikos of this smol kontoler.

When it comes to face buttons, the DS4 feels more premium though.
It feels rubbery and cushioned when fully pressed down.
It kinda feels good compared to the plasticky, toy like feel and sound the Xbox makes.

HOWEVER it's actually less tactile then Xbone pad.
The travel is too shallow, you could be holding the X button when you only wanted to press it once, and you could've let it go easily when you actually wanted to hold it down.

There's plenty of cases in Souls games I accidentally jumped or rolled when I wanted to do the other action. Combine that with DS4's gyro for gestures, you'll be suddenly doing gestures in the middle of boss fight lmao.
There's actually been cases where speedrunners failed their challenge runs bikos of this shit.

And the DS4 triggers are too sensitive, small bump againts your finger or simply by resting on your lap, the desk, would active the trigger buttons.

Imagine in Souls speaking to NPCs holding a 2H Greataxe rested on shoulder and accidentally hitting R2.
You'll botch your 60hr run just bikos you accidentally killed a fucking NPC questline.

That and the DS4's Start / Options button is levelled flat with the fucking surface and it' so tiny, making it hard to navigate to in a jiffy.

Prett.

OEM DS3 at around RM20-30. The problem with DS4 is that it has useless stuff like the touchpad and lightbar. The drawback is DS3 still use ancient mini usb, tho the DS4 is not much better with microusb.

OEM switch pro controller is another option to the OEM DS4. You get type C connector at the same price as the OEM DS4, without the lightbar and touchpad, while retaining the same dual analog layout if u prefer that instead of xbox.

I use a ~RM30 OEM DS3 with a usb bluetooth dongle. works fine on Windows tho need abit tweaking with Vigem and DS4 windows for best experience. The analog sticks and trigger kinda shit, but for a really cheap wireless controller with familiar dual analog layout its probably the best one out there.
