not sure about netherlands. but for continental europe, germany is the most well known for international students. German friend says there are a lot of China students in his university. Malaysians are few and between. You pay only 1k euro per semester if you pass German B2.

I think you are better off looking for a Malaysians in the Netherlands group. They are more likely to know the answer to your questions.

afaik, you are better off finding a Malaysian in Germany instead of in Netherlands. Not many Malaysian in Netherlands though.

used to be in Netherlands but was working though , interesting place, visited their university at Leiden . Very few Malaysians/Singaporeans.
