QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Dec 28 2021, 09:57 AM) better than us... lol... we more than 60% of the squad affected Somewhat Excusable but don’t forget we pay ours easily 2-10x more than Newcastle. Somehow not getting what we paid for from these jokers. Maguire slow to turn as always. If it ended 3-1 it would’ve all been him as last defender. How many more Davesaves are we going to get? Once he gets the player of the year is the year RM or some other team will start their poaching. |

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Dec 29 2021, 10:21 AM) rumours that the players cant get used to RR training methods.. lol... what a bunch of joker of players we have if this is real... Won’t be so bad I think? Have you really ever heard one player saying the training is too much? Anywhere in EPL. That player value confirm drop. |

Sancho is doing better in terms of effort.
McT, if he scores a few more for the season will actually overtake Bruno and with 10 goals can be a great asset too. But Burnley didn’t look like they came for a fight so I don’t think there is much to gain from this match. I’m still struggling to understand the captain, who was neither here nor there for the goal conceded and whole game didn’t look useful. The full backs did a lot better than him as a defender. |

Wow, lifeless display on first half and a bit better on the 2nd. Ralf got lots to learn. One thing is our midfield still like kosong and McT is no Robbo. There.
I tot AWB did better than usual (which is usually 5/10) with his attacking movement. It did not end up with a goal but much better, say 6/10 lol. The days of expecting Sancho n Greenwood to be our twin wing terror still looks years in the making. And rashford has become Welbeck. |

look, i dont mind seeing starting 11 all from under 23 from the reserves. Please sack all the 17/18/19/xx players, and lets save the money.
If we don't make it to top 4 its ok. I only want to see us challenge for top 1. If not lets do what it takes to achieve that... This post has been edited by lee82gx: Jan 7 2022, 10:29 PM |

Rather solid yes, against west ham. The most surprising thing is Harry playing like the England version rather than the Man Utd version.
Didn’t get exposed on his lack of speed, either he read and played it well or got lucky with hammers attackers. |

I doubt we’ll be buying for an interim manager or at his request.
Same like Ole. Once the Glazers are more sure he’ll be permanent ie next window perhaps then maybe we’ll loosen the purse strings. Either way rebuild is going to easily cost 1B if we want to be in any manager’s image, it is huge and frankly I’m not interested unless I’m a crazy person or I’m very convinced. |

Hope it’s not true, because football talent is rare and difficult but being a good human being is not.

That incredible turn and burst of pace by Lord Maguire totally opened up the way for Burnley to equalize.
Sorry nowadays I only watch ManUtd with sArcAsM https://www.facebook.com/groups/155817532900195/about |

McT can stay but he can improve. Other than that, Fred has to go. Ok - RR does not even play him so often with Pogba back.
But overall, like statikinetic says so well above, it is the work rate, attitude, and will to win being VERY VERY SORELY LACKING. Without this blind will to win every single pass, tackle, block on an individual basis, it is useless to talk about team work and strategy. Not a single player in MUFC is lacking ability or skill. Its that elite mental level demonstrated best by Keano and Gary Nev. It is not being shown the opposite by Maguire. So no, I aint staying up for this sh!t |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Feb 20 2022, 04:30 AM) Southampton were very good and the entire Everton team was second best. when you have zidane in the team, things are so different. but sadly we are sooo far off from just 1 top talent in the center.VDB was efficient and could've had an assist. I wouldn't say impress as the entire team was off but still a workmanlike performance. The game was gone when Gomes got caught in possession in his own half and Southampton scored from the mistake. The simplicity is a strength when playing in that position in my opinon. When playing in a 6, the role is to keep the the game efficient. There can be a tough tackling, all action English style midfielder. But the best deep midfielders in the modern game makes the efficiency look simple. Think of Busquests, Xavi or Carrick. For the casual fans their game will be boring as it is all built on simple passes. Think also about Makelele, who defined the role. His instructions in the famous Real Madrid side was to pass it 6 yards when recovering the ball. No long Hollywood passes to risk losing possession, just give the short ball to the more gifted players like Zidane to play. |

I dunno about Declan rice but I’ve seen John Mcginn and it pains me to say our midfield combined miles ran probably will lose to him 1 person.
It’s exactly this : painfully that we are not working our asses off in the match that will eventually determine where we end up in the table. Talent can only get you so far. |

All I want to know is did Maguire give stones and co a big smile and brotherly hug after the match or perhaps he couldn’t wait and did it at half time anyway?
