QUOTE(statikinetic @ Mar 7 2022, 11:43 AM) Moyes didn't change the culture. He was just unfortunate to be in the position when it happened. towards the end of SAF tenures he is not supported by the board on transfers already. i rmb we actually didnt sign anyone for one full season if i recall correctly. signing ppl like obertan, buttner, diouf. What changed the culture was Ferguson and Gill leaving at the same time and United couldn't fill the void. In the absence of something to fill a hole, the hole gets filled with whatever is there. Which is corporate business culture. That was what happened. I don't blame Moyes. He inherited a poisoned chalice. Plus not to forget the Club fluffed ALL his transfer targets and then needed to go back to Fellaini. he managed to bring the epl back with rvp. the season before that already no signings. sonicbull liked this post

QUOTE(hocksoo @ Mar 7 2022, 05:10 PM) The board to blame for all of these. They failed to set a right direction, failed to hire the right football people, keep on changing managers with different profile, causing Man Utd to lose it's identity and direction. youth is one thing.. we have been promoting youth forever..Now forget about top 4, we need to reset. RR is a good start, set a new direction and the way we want to play, get the right football minded people to manage the club, buy the players with the right mentality. Sell all those poor mentality players, promote youth and buy hard working players who fit with our new way. It is going to be tough up front but... if they go with this direction, I am excited... a few notable youth name we have... like mr obe and kayu... |

so fast hate on RR? can bear with ole mediocrity for 3 years but cant bear with RR for 6 months? Ole best memories only that PSG game. RR comes in after Ole bought so many players. players with baggage, with problems and RR does not get the support or to purchase players he need. Maguire cant even start for a championship team. Rashford better off doing charity and stuff. AWB down the hill after he joined us. RalphRatedR liked this post

QUOTE(IpohGuyz @ Mar 9 2022, 11:11 AM) Sudah no patience. Need immediate win. Always wait 2-3 years then see 0-1 trophy. I can wait, but matches have to give me winning feel when turn tv on. Thats the bare minimum. Imo ole did above expectation for his interim. Stable the ship thats it. That i give it to him. And get offered the job and signed it. Any ppl will sign it.Judging by just as fan perspective on watching tv, apart from ole run that got him sacked, most of the matches are entertaining. Entertaining in sense, you don't know what you getting, looking forward to kickoff. Recently vs big teams, its as good as lose feel. Don't even have motivation see. I will rate ole above mediocre but below world class cause he won nothing. We secured top 4 easily under him, talking about title challenge. Now again fight for top4, potentially 10 point behind arsenal. Dropping point again to spurs and pool, as good as doomed. Who will think we can get 6 point from these 2 matches? Failure to win Europa Cup and losing all semi finals make ole looks like failure. I rate rr based on performance and result. So far, no result vs big teams, struggling for points vs small teams. Very good performance in 1 half of matches, and if we put those chances away, we are very comfortable in top 4. Players issue is a problem but its the manager that starts them. Cause manager is new, we blame players and board again. Merry go round blaming really. Got his support for transfer in players mostly but cant deliver when the rest of the big teams are down. No2 under him is fraud. He set the bar so low i would rate him below moyes. Yes david moyes of mufc. His last season and the season before he got found out already. Every game is we almos beat them excuse we played better comments. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Mar 11 2022, 10:23 AM) There is no unethical here if we approach him officially and pay compensation. Compensation may be tricky considering the sanctions. should only consider ten hag as the only candidates. club should not be changing target manager every time a new news come out.So here is the question. Assuming Tuchel quits Chelsea amid the sanctions, potential managerial candidate? poch also should be eating bullet from psg and booted out dy. so news of us considering him again should be coming out but lets hope its not the case. |

QUOTE(beck_ken @ Mar 11 2022, 11:18 AM) Ten Hag if board allow to overhaul the whole team and starts from zero again ten hag is the priority for me. would suit the united board agenda with money and go for youth if we also manage to bring in overmars.Let’s see end of the season what will happened: Contract up: 1. Pogba 99.9% leaving (290k/week) 2. Mata 99.9% leaving (160k/week) 3. Lingard 99.9% leaving (75k/week) 4. Cavani 99.9% leaving (210k/week) 5. Grant 99.9% leaving (30k/week) 6. Matic, possible renew (120k/week) Problematic: 1. Martial - possible force to use if not buyer, first 2 games so so but now injured at Sevilla 2. VDB - future unknown, if Ten Hag as new manager maybe he got second life at OT 3. CR7 - willing to play Europa? 4. DH - kesian him this season after resurrection of DDG 5. Bailly - most likely request to go 6. Amad - can’t even survive at Scottish league 7. Greenwood - return % very low 8. Rashford - considering his future, can go if he want If we going to do a massive clear up, contract expired plus playing Europa next season, I think it is best to promote youth to play next season. We are not Arab sugar daddy, see how Arsenal ditched star players and start using youth, and now u see the result starting to pay off. Chelsea, don’t see them have so many star players, they have James, Mount etc etc to build up where they are now. Players like Garner, Hannibal, A Fernandez, Ganancho, Williams, McNeil and few more can promote to first team play for next season, don’t hope any instant impact but give them 3 to 4 years regular first team games plus some existing first team players who have the passion playing for the club can continue to play. We no need star players or very expensive players, we need players who have the passion and injured free players to carry the team |

QUOTE(mufc88 @ Mar 14 2022, 04:54 PM) DM Declan rice has everything. Price could be a hassle tough. He has been West ham's best player last few seasons. Chelse were favourite to snap him but no more. So, do we need another RB? If yes, dalot or AWB to leave? based on last game, dalot should be cement rb for a while mufc88 liked this post

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Mar 14 2022, 11:05 AM) Manchester United shouldn't be shopping at relegation teams if we are serious of being Europe's elite. i think United can try to keep those below average English like Maguire out of the team for a start. player like him, cant even guarantee to start for the relegation teams. but starts for United? There are exceptions but those are rare. None of the players here interest me. Kalvin Phillips does not fit the bill of an elite CDM for me. If we are buying a first team starter, we should go for best in class. |
