Hello Audio Gurus,

I'm looking to buy 3.1 soundbar for my living room.
Samsung Q600A Vs Philips TAPB603 Vs LG SN8Y
I've filtered these models based on their availability in Malaysia.
Any advise on which to choose?

I'll be connecting audio for TV box, playing YouTube music (phone Bluetooth / from tvbox), gaming console.
Budget below 2k.

Get bookshelf speakers if you want good quality audio.
Samsung Q600A looks good but subwoofer bass very soft.

Since your budget is 2K and below.
Edifier S360DB or S2000MKIII for your best pick.
S3000 pro can get below RM2K during sales.

I'm using S3000 Pro. No regrets after everyone
recommending.

Bookshelf speakers only lacking center speakers.
So far using it no issues.

Edifier having sales on certain products through Shopee on 1.1 sales.

I highly recommend S2000MKIII.
S3000 Pro will be at RM2099 exclude shipping fees.
Or S360DB.

Top up budget and get s3000pro?

but bookshelf speaker doesnt have hdmi input for audio.
mostly soundbar..

use RCA output from tv

tv dont have RCA (only optic), media box also dont have any other audio output..

Can use coaxial or Optical.
Or use on 3.5mm headphone jack. Use 3.5mm to 2RCA converter.

Tv no analog audio output, so does media box.
Only hdmi available.

Connect from media box to TV via HDMI.
What type of audio out for your TV? What's the TV model?

My setup is like below.

Android box - - HDMI - - TV
TV - - 2RCA - - Speakers
Or TV - - Optical - - Speakers

It is recommended to go with optical for best audio quality whenever possible as not all rca analog outputs from TVs are built equal ( ie some are noisier than others)
