This may sound absurd but i have the habit of keeping at least 2 months worth of food in my pantry. Things can last long like dried noodles, pasta, canned sardines and mackerel, sauces, pesto and some groceries.

We malaysians don't usually do that because we don't have to store food for the winter. People just buy fresh ingredients that last for a week. But who knows what disaster may hit your area. Pandemic, sudden flood and short of electricity, shops are forced to close.

Better safe than sorry. Just sharing my tips.

With the flood many found out their kitchens and supply were under water

Huhu if that happens might as well just go rescue center.

Some of my neighbours (apartment) don't even bother to store mineral water few bottles in the house. Water supply problem, all kelam kabut rushing to find water.  rclxub.gif really take it for granted 0 planning punya

True, its ok if skip bathing for few days, drinking water is more important. By the time people get water disruption notice, shops already run out of mineral water. Only can blame themselves.
