QUOTE(BridgestoneRE711 @ Sep 19 2007, 10:27 AM) how can u all see the car as ugly as it is still in camo. ? i dont get it at all ... basher or what ? in my opinion , there are many hot hatch become sedan in this world . why proton choose to use savvy is becasue it is goign to replace the iswara and the savvy is using the most basic and economical structure design , that is why they have chose savvy platform . meanwhile , yes , now it looks boxy . but i wonder why is there no one go and criticize the odd looking X3 which happen to be one of the worst looking bmw ever , or how about the hyundai accent which comes with pre-fitted ah beng elements ? isn't it obvious? becoz of brand... they just see brand 1st only design.... i cannot give comment yet until see final product only i can say ugly or not... not much motor journalist will critic the car so bad where they only see in development stage.. ppl in LYN net now very power... can judge whether its ugly or good looking... if u guys say this car is ugly.. den how about our others tall and boxy car u can see on the road today? are those ugly?

and if not mistaken.. pretensioner is to reduce the risk of ur head from banging the steering..... or even airbags.... normal safety belt is just stop only but pretensioner will pull u a litter..... i watch a vids in (either in youtube or somewhere which i forgotten) it shows how pretensioner works...

becoz to what i understand is.... normal seat belts will still have high risk of hitting the steering and the airbags as well... airbags can save ur life but it will injured u as well.... it can say a double edge sword too... but den... pre-tensioner is there to lower the risk too....

QUOTE(aplnick @ Feb 26 2008, 11:51 PM) buy proton is like tht la...u gamble ma...lucky u get cars wif out any faulty part syok lor...u unlucky..u spend a lot of time at SC, Feeling cheated and frustrated. All boils down to QC. Now come to think of it....it's worth paying more for a MyVi, at least u know u would not get a lemon. My mum has a myvi, 2 years..no problem at all..nvr need to repair anything, not even absorbers.I have a few frens who drive myvi...no complain..nvr claim warranty also, plus it's more fuel economical and u know the design is good bcos the amount of money and resource perodua's parent daihatsu/Toyota has for R&D is bigger thn protons n thy definitely can afford to spend on R&D since myvi's platform and engine is also used in Daihatsu sirion/boom and also toyota passo thy have economic of scale.Since daihatsu sirion and toyota passo are sold in Europe, thy hv to meet certain safety standards.U can be sure myvi will not be a milo tin wif wheels. gen2, wira, saga waja and GTi all sold in europe too... so thats make them not a milo tin car? ur statement is kinda misleading.... and not to say... perodua is perodua... toyota/daihatsu is alot diff even they are the major holder in perodua but to compare parts.... perodua is using cheaper quality...
